31 Days of Blogging

July 2021 Calendar with background of swimming pool

Last week, when I read about Jessica’s plan to write one blog post a day in July, I thought that’s exactly what I need to do.

Fast forward a bit and it’s suddenly the 1st. And 9:30 pm on the first to boot. And I have done approximately 1.5 things on my to-do list no less 🙈

But I don’t want to quit before even starting. This isn’t going to be fancy or great or even well written. But it will be… something.

A few quick life and work updates:

  • We finally finished 1st grade. Yes, it was a few weeks later than planned but hey I had a baby mid-school year.
  • The first sesson of the annual convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses was released on Monday. I made a 75-page🤯 workbook for my kids that you can pick up for $5 in my Etsy shop.

  • I am planning to release a PLR e-book on Birth Traditions Around the World to my Business Tools for Birth Workers newsletter. True to form, it’s turned into a humongo project that I’m quite excited about. But researching and writing 10,000 words on a topic I want to show the utmost respect to has taken longer than planned. I’ll probably have to set up a preorder page with a release date to force myself to get it done by a set deadline. It’s looking rather pretty though.

  • I’ve been living in these linen overalls that I shortened into shorts. I decided to try to make my own pair from this pattern and fabric in my stash. Let’s just say they did not turn out as cute as hoped for. But I was able to salvage some pretty comfy PJ shorts out of them. Which reminds me of one of the biggest life lessons I’ll leave y’all with…

Never be afraid to try to do something yourself. If you mess up, there’s always something good to come from it – even if it’s just a lesson learned.

Till tomorrow, hopefully! 😂
